    JULY 18TH, 2022 - LONG TRAIL WOMEN’S SELF-SUPPORTED RECORD

Last night I completed the trail in record time for women self-supported: 6 days, 8 hours, 12 minutes. It was my third Long Trail record attempt and even until the last day I didn’t believe I could or would do it. I’m still in disbelief, as if reaching a dream is a thing reserved for other people and not me; it doesn’t feel real.

A recap of my Long Trail journey can be found here.

  • JUNE 28TH, 2022 - TRACKSMITH AMBASSADOR ANNOUNCEMENT

I’m thrilled to be part of the inaugural class of Tracksmith ambassadors! I’ve been a fan/supporter of Tracksmith for years. Their apparel is top notch in design and durability. I love that they celebrate running culture and history, they do tons of storytelling around the sport, they support amateur athletes, artists, and writers, and they promote inclusivity in the sport through their foundation, providing funding for youth and college T&F programs.

I’m thankful for Tracksmith’s support not only in my journey as an athlete but as an artist/writer too.

  • MAY 30TH, 2022 - LONGY-BOUND!

I have some exciting news to share, hence the big move from Portland–I am heading to Boston this fall to pursue a Master of Music in Collaborative Piano at Longy School of Music of Bard College! I’m looking forward to learning and growing as a pianist and artist in their immersive and supportive environment. After visiting and auditioning, I got the sense of being supported as a whole person (not only as a musician), and I appreciate that they emphasize music as a medium in making a meaningful difference in the world. I hear Boston is a bit of a running town too…
