"Did You Even See Anything Hiking So Fast?" Talking Trail Records/FKTs with Mercury and Candy Mama

Tara Dower (AT Class of 2019; Benton MacKaye Trail, Mountains-to-Sea Trail records) and Liz Derstine (AT Class of 2020; Long Trail, Pinhoti Trail, AT NoBo records) shed light on their perspectives as thru-hikers and record holders: what it's like to go after a FKT (Fastest Known Time), what they learned from their experiences, the controversies and criticisms that come up with FKTs, and tips on how to go for it yourself–be it an FKT or a personal record. Q&A session to follow.
